There are 2 possible common reasons for this

  1. Your computer and/or internet has cached an old version of your DNS or website.
  2. You have been (temporarily) banned by one of our server for a certain reason. (contact us)

Your computer/internet has cached an old version of your DNS or website
Updating your domain's nameservers can take up to 48 hours to fully propagate. With most domains registered with Tech-Hosts, it will fully update within minutes. Some registries (in particular .uk domains) take longer than a few minutes to wait as, for example with the .uk registry, it has to go through Nominet (who oversee all .uk registrations, renewals, modifications etc.) which tends to take less than 30 minutes. If you aren't able to see the changes after this time then it is because your particular internet connection has cached the old DNS changes or the domain as not existing (if you have gone on it too early). If this happens, you may have to wait up to 48 hours.

You can try the following things to speed this wait up

1. Flush your DNS:
--�Find your "command prompt" on your computer (ie start > All programs > Accessories > Command prompt)
---�If on Windows Vista or 7 be sure to right click and select "Run as administrator"
---- The run this command:�ipconfig /flushdns

This should then flush your DNS. You can then try to access your website.

2. Restart your internet browser
3.�Clear your temporary internet files (including temp files, cookies, etc.)
4.�Restart your computer
5.�Restart your router/modem or reconnect your internet.

If you try all of these things and none of them work, then you just have to wait until it works unfortunately or use a proxy

You have been (temporarily) banned by our server for a certain reason.

It is possible that your IP address has been blocked from our server for one of the following reasons -

- Too many failed login attempts to
--�A web page
--- Your control panel
---- FTP account
----- E-Mail
------ or many other resources.

Too many connections to our server (i.e. intentionally or unintentionally have an unhealthy number of connections to the server)
Rapidly connecting to the server (i.e. suspect DoS attack, intentionally or unintentionally)
Spam Mail
Various other reasons.

If you think you have been blocked, then you should wait a few minutes (as some blocks only last 5 minutes or so). After 10 minutes of still not being able to access your website, contact us through one of the multiple methods of support and we will look into it for you.

It is extremely unlikely that you will be banned falsely. Sometimes, you may find that you were unintentionally doing something that may be damaging towards the server. For example, you may have been using a shifty FTP program to upload files to your website. Some FTP programs make a new connection to the server for each file they upload. If you're uploading a few hundred files then you may be opening hundreds of connections to the server in less than a minute (an unhealthy amount, similar to an intentional DoS).
